1. Laser Tattoo Removal

2. Laser Skin Rejuvenation

Our Picosure’s FOCUS lens array is the least painful way to rejuvenate skin from aesthetic imperfections, such as sun damage and mottled pigmentation, resulting in smoother, firmer and refreshed skin.

PicoSure works using a photomechanical impact that creates pressure waves in the dermis (skin) stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin without causing any damage. Additionally, the laser does not damage the skin surrounding the targeted imperfections and is consistently successful even on darker skin (including Fitzpatrick skin types IV, V, and in many cases, VI).

After treatment the expected downtime is about 3 hours of redness, not days.

3. Pigmentation Reduction

Pigmentation can be caused by a number of different factors, however more often than not it is a result of too much time in the sun. Pigmentation might take the form of freckles, age spots or larger patches of discoloured skin. Other conditions are congenital or hereditary.

We provide a comprehensive consultation prior to any treatments to determine the exact type of pigmentation. Our Picosure Laser pigmentation removal fades the discolouration and uneven skin tone in turn increasing the skins natural colouring.

The laser is attracted to the melanin in the skin which absorbs the light and is drawn to the surface without harming the surrounding tissue.

The pigmentation will fade when treated, leaving a more even tone to your skin. Depending on the degree of pigmentation you will generally need three to six treatments at two to four weekly intervals.

This can be followed by an ‘all over’ rejuvenation treatment to refresh and brighten the entire area.

4. Acne Scarring

The Picosure Laser is a major break-through in the treatment of acne scarring. Its results have been scientifically shown to be better than any other laser system for treating acne scarring. The photo mechanical action causes LIOB (laser induced optical breakdown), in the epidermal layer of the skin. This releases a number of factors that stimulate a repair response that remodels the scar with new collagen and elastin production, smoothing out the clumps of collagen that exist in acne-scarred skin, and increasing collagen in areas of collagen loss. Typically a series of 3 of more  laser treatments are recommended, depending on the severity of the scarring.
